Snow Leopard was released, which is Mac OS version 10.6. Retailing at $29, with a LOT of updates from prior versions. For example, there was a U.I change to the docks, and with a lot of enhancements to speedand processing. (Also, they changed the icon!) Plus you can now watch video clips direct through the browsers and Pdfs & Jpegs open at 1.5x the current speed. Also, the best part for most users is that you will SAVE space when installing it! You will get back 6GB which was taken up from prior versions, even though the OS has gotten quicker and better.

Okay, so here are the two biggest and best updates:
One, the new iphone 3GS. And two, release of iphone 3.0 firmware. The new software for the "old" iphone contains,in short, over 1000 extra API's and 100 new features for the iphone devlopment team to use. it also had the annocencement of tomtom bring a turn by turn satnav application.

Update will be available worldwide on June 17, free for iPhone users and $9.95 for iPod Touch users.

According to Apple, you will get up to 12 hours of talk time on 2G and 5 on 3G, with a up to 300 hour standby time. And Video playback is 10 hours and 30 hours for audio.
So you could watch all the Lord Of The Rings in one battery charge! Or listein to a ton of songs!
However, something this good doesn't come cheap, and here are the prices. In dollars:
$199 for 16GB version,
$299 for 32GB version,
And the release date is set at June 19th. Get ready.
